How It Works/Timeline
This is the timeline for the hunt, as it pertains to merchants.
Please note that these registration dates are solid; as much as we would love to extend registration right up until the day the hunt starts, we can’t. :)
Note: We are planning for 120 stores on this hunt. Applications will be taken on a first come, first serve basis; all qualifying applications will be accepted in the order they are received. If we reach 100 qualifying applications prior to the planned registration closing date, registration will close early. An incomplete application will not ‘hold a spot’ in the 120 – so read those instructions carefully!

Here’s how it works for the merchants:
January 31
Registration for merchants in the Twisted Designer group opens.
February 5:
General registration opens.
February 15:
This is the deadline for ALL participating merchants.
No applications will be accepted after midnight.
February 24:
The “boxes” are delivered to all merchants participating in the hunt, containing the landmark for the next location in the hunt.
February 26:
Official walk-through begins. The hunt box needs to be out today, but shouldn’t have the gift in it – this is just a check.
February 28:
All merchants MUST have their boxes out by midnight, with gift(s) inside.
The hunt begins at 12:01!
March 1:
The hunt begins!
March 13:
Official Twisted Party #1! Details on this forthcoming. ;)
March 27:
Official Twisted Party #2! Details on this forthcoming. ;)
April 1:
Merchants may take their hunt boxes today, the hunt is over, and a great time was had by all. =)
And – today is a good day to send big loves and thank-you presents to the Hunt Assistants, who gave freely of their time to make sure the hunt went as smoothly as possible.
